Vista Maria Shelter

I was lucky enough to be a part of another good cause last month. I sent off a variety of gemstone bracelets for the girls of the Vista Maria Shelter in Michigan, a residential and community based treatment agency that provides education, spiritual support, therapy, shelter and care to young women and their families who have been victims of abuse, neglect and other traumas.

The bracelets were part of a gift bag put together for the girls who also received dorm makeovers and a cooking celebration to make them feel as special as they already are!

Breast Cancer Ribbon Earrings

Tigerlily foundation is an organization that strives to educate and empower young women about breast cancer.  The founder, Maimah Karmo, a breast cancer survivor and fearless female is active in many different committees and coalitions dedicated to the awareness, advocacy, research and care of those diagnosed with this harrowing disease.  She recently appeared on Oprah with Christina Applegate sharing her story and her fight.  

In June, I will be donating 100+ breast cancer ribbon earrings to the Tigerlily foundation for the young survivors and fearless females.
